About these terms

These terms of service govern your use of our website and services. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with any part of these terms, please don't use our website or services.

Our services

Riva Blooms provides floral design services including:

  • Wedding flowers and arrangements
  • Corporate event florals
  • Special occasion arrangements
  • Custom floral designs
  • Delivery services within our coverage area

Booking and consultations

We operate by appointment only. All consultations and viewings must be arranged in advance. We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion.

When you book our services:

  • We'll provide you with a detailed quote outlining costs and services
  • A deposit may be required to secure your booking
  • Final details must be confirmed at least 2 weeks before your event
  • Changes to orders may incur additional charges

Pricing and payment

All prices are quoted in British Pounds (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Prices may vary based on:

  • Seasonal availability of flowers
  • Complexity of designs
  • Delivery location and timing
  • Short notice requirements

Payment terms:

  • Deposits are typically 50% of the total order value
  • Final payment is due 7 days before your event
  • We accept bank transfers, cash, and card payments
  • Late payments may result in cancellation of services

Delivery and setup

We offer free local delivery to Mitcham, Wimbledon, and Morden for substantial orders. Deliveries outside these areas may be possible depending on your location and order - please contact us to discuss. Setup services are available for larger events and installations.

Please note:

  • Free delivery applies to orders that meet our minimum value threshold
  • Delivery times are estimated and may vary due to traffic or other factors
  • Someone must be available to receive deliveries
  • We are not responsible for arrangements after delivery unless setup service is included
  • Access requirements (stairs, lifts, parking) should be communicated in advance

Cancellations and changes

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is:

  • More than 4 weeks before: Full refund minus 10% administration fee
  • 2-4 weeks before: 50% refund
  • Less than 2 weeks: No refund (flowers may already be ordered)
  • Same day cancellations: No refund

Changes to existing orders may be possible but could affect pricing and availability.

Flower care and longevity

Fresh flowers are natural products with limited lifespans. While we use the freshest flowers available and provide care instructions, we cannot guarantee how long arrangements will last as this depends on many factors including temperature, humidity, and care.

Liability and insurance

We carry public liability insurance for our services. However, our liability is limited to the value of the services provided. We are not responsible for:

  • Damage to venues or property not caused by our negligence
  • Allergic reactions to flowers or plants
  • Events beyond our control (extreme weather, venue issues, etc.)
  • Consequential losses or damages

Intellectual property

Our floral designs, arrangements, and creative concepts are our intellectual property. You're welcome to share photos of our work, but please credit Riva Blooms when doing so.

Photography and marketing

We may photograph our work at your event for portfolio and marketing purposes. If you prefer us not to photograph or share images of your event, please let us know in advance.

Force majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, supplier issues, or government restrictions.

Dispute resolution

We aim to resolve any issues amicably through direct communication. If a dispute cannot be resolved, it will be governed by English law and subject to the jurisdiction of English courts.
